MEET TODAY’S GUEST
A bit Sofia
Sofia's journey started with a YouTube rabbit hole in 6th grade and never really stopped.
What began as secretly borrowing clothes from her sister and mother, she calls it borrowing, others might call it something else, but they have forgiven her, has evolved into an open, unapologetically lived identity.
Genderfluid, out to everyone who matters. Based in Switzerland where she has never once had a bad experience going out dressed, Sofia brings warmth, humour and zero drama to her story.

Before we begin, a word of gratitude.
To Sofia: thank you for your honesty, your lightness, and for making this all seem so wonderfully normal. There is something quietly powerful about someone who has simply decided to live their truth and get on with it. No grand crisis, no dramatic coming out moment. Just a YouTube video that changed everything and eight years of slowly letting the world in. The people still in that rabbit hole right now will find themselves in your words.
To our readers: ten interviews in. Ten. When I published that very first issue I had no idea if anyone would show up, let alone stay. You did both. You have opened every issue, read every story, and shown up for people you had never met before simply because their journey resonated with yours. That is what Kinkova is supposed to be and you built it with me. Every single one of you. Thank you.
Now you are about to meet someone who went from borrowing clothes in 6th grade to walking into queer bars in Switzerland fully dressed and loving every minute of it. Her story is warm, funny, and completely real. This one will make you smile.
This is just the beginning and I am grateful you are here for it.
