MEET TODAY’S GUEST
Dia Darlin
Dia does not do subtle. Inspired by anime, professional wrestlers and video game characters, her feminine wardrobe is less a collection of clothes and more a roster of cosmetic skins, default Dia, summer event Dia, nurse outfit Dia, bunny costume Dia. If she is going to shave her entire body and spend an hour on makeup, looking ordinary was never going to be on the agenda.
Partially out to the people who matter and in a relationship with a girlfriend who saw her sitting there as Alice in Wonderland and said "I didn't think you were serious. You look good." Dia is submissive when dressed, proudly brattish by fantasy, and completely clear that the two sides of her do not need to merge to coexist.
Her closing thought alone is worth the read.

Before we begin, a word of gratitude.
To Dia: thank you for your humour, your creativity, and for bringing something to this series that nobody else has yet. You made me laugh out loud more than once and that is not easy. The way you describe Dia as a cosmetic skin, as a character you get to inhabit while leaving the boring stuff behind, is one of the most original ways anyone has ever described crossdressing to me. This community is richer for you being in it.
To our readers: eleven interviews in. Eleven different people. Eleven completely different stories. And yet every single one has resonated with someone who wrote in to say I see myself in this. That is the whole point. Kinkova exists to show that there is no single way to be us. Dia proves that beautifully.
You are about to meet someone who turned up to a Halloween party as Alice in Wonderland, surprised every single friend in the room, and spent the night asking people to open cans because of her nails. This one is warm, funny, and completely original.
